SINGAPORE: The repeal of Section 377A and protecting the definition of marriage from legal challenges is a "major milestone" for Singapore, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday (Nov 29).
"It is a major milestone for Singapore. The outcome itself is significant. We are decriminalising sex between men - a longstanding issue, and not just for gay Singaporeans," said Mr Lee.

KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Anwar Ibrahim was sworn in as Malaysia's 10th Prime Minister on Thursday (Nov 24).
Mr Anwar was deputy prime minister in the 1990s before he was sacked by then-prime minister Mahathir Mohamad in 1998.
He spent two stints in jail for sodomy and corruption in what he said were politically motivated charges aimed at ending his career.
The word sodomy has a long history of use in reference to culturally stigmatized sex acts, and often specifically to sex acts between people of the same sex. It's obvious that the repeal of Section 377A on Tuesday (Nov 29) by Parliament is to "roll out the red carpet" for Anwar Ibrahim who spent two stints in jail for sodomy. Covert/deceptive foreign interference from the Government of Malaysia seeking to manipulate our domestic politics and policies to undermine the "sovereignty of the Republic of Singapore as an independent nation" has successfully camouflaged/disguised into "domestic laws and policies of Singapore" via the legislature and the judiciary (enforces and interprets the laws) through the use of LKY's crazy rich remuneration - it's rapidly becoming clear that the Government of Malaysia intend to manipulate our domestic politics and policies to take control of our national reserves (estimated at more than S$1 trillion) through covert/deceptive means.
Singaporeans need to recognize that LKY's Proclamation of Independence in 1965 is fake or incomplete - the legislature and the judiciary are "de facto local proxies" who covertly and knowingly act against Singapore's public interest on behalf of the Government of Malaysia. Singapore's authority countering foreign interference (https://www.mha.gov.sg/fica) must include the judiciary as "vectors of foreign influence and interference" because foreign powers always control the judiciary of their targeted country and once the judiciary is under their control, everything in their targeted country can be controlled under the guise of "court orders" that seem legitimate but are actually covert/deceptive foreign interference from the Government of Malaysia seeking to undermine the "sovereignty of the Republic of Singapore as an independent nation" and wither away the rule of law so as to polarise the society into different castes for the purpose of divide and rule.
I'll forward a copy of this report to public officers (https://www.careers.gov.sg/who-we-are/our-mission-and-values) and diplomatic corps (good governance diplomacy incl. deadly satellite psychotronic responses) to let them know the truth about covert/deceptive foreign interference from the Government of Malaysia and their local proxies that went undetected for many years. Public officers must approach "foreign influence and interference" from a military perspective because "foreign influence and interference" is a form of "military invasion" through covert/deceptive means. I'll never shy away from my mortal enemies (Government of Malaysia and their local proxies) - CPO-000034-2022 is a classic example of covert/deceptive foreign interference from the Government of Malaysia (via the judiciary) to warn rank-and-file public officers not to oppose or speak out against foreign influence and interference.
